Israeli forces uproot some 200 olive trees near Salfit

SALFIT, April 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Thursday uprooted some 200 age-old olive trees in the area between Haris and Kifl Haris towns, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Salfit, according to WAFA correspondent.

She said that the occupying forces continued to raze olive orchards and vandalize trees in the area for the second consecutive day.

On Monday, Omar Samara, head of the Haris Village Council, said that the occupation forces had issued notices of the seizure of this large tract of land, estimated at 65 dunams, giving citizens only 24 hours to submit their objections.
