GAZA, April 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip stated that 602,000 children are at risk of permanent paralysis and chronic disabilities unless the occupation forces deliver polio vaccines, which have been suspended for 40 days.
The same sources explained that preventing the delivery of vaccines is hindering efforts to implement the fourth phase of strengthening polio prevention.
They noted that Gaza's children are threatened by serious and unprecedented health complications due to the lack of adequate nutrition and drinking water.
