Child shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces east of Nablus

NABLUS, April 19, 2025 (WAFA) – A 13-year-old Palestinian child was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening during confrontations in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the child was shot with live ammunition in the thigh and was transferred to a hospital for treatment. The injury occurred during an Israeli military raid on the town, during which soldiers fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal rounds, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters at residents.

Local sources also reported that Israeli colonists abducted three Palestinian children from the Al-Dubbat neighborhood in the western part of the town. Residents later rescued the children, finding them tied to olive trees after being held for over an hour.
