PM Mustafa discusses developments with Bosnian counterpart on sidelines of Antalya Diplomacy Forum

ANTALYA, April 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Mustafa met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, on the sidelines of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Turkiye, Faed Mustafa, and Assistant Foreign Minister Ambassador Omar Awadallah.

During the talks, Prime Minister Mustafa discussed ways to benefit from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s experience in reconstruction and development. He briefed Minister Konaković on the Gaza Reconstruction Plan, which was adopted by the recent Arab League and Organization of Islamic Cooperation summits.

The two sides also explored means of mobilizing international support and initiating practical steps for implementation once the aggression ends.

Prime Minister Mustafa updated the Bosnian Foreign Minister on the latest developments in Palestine, particularly the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and continued Israeli army attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, with a focus on refugee camps in the northern West Bank.

He emphasized that the top priority remains achieving an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza, scaling up humanitarian aid, restoring essential services, and ultimately launching comprehensive reconstruction and economic recovery.

For his part, Minister Konaković expressed Bosnia and Herzegovina's readiness to provide support and expertise in the post-war reconstruction of Gaza. He underscored the importance of Palestinian national unity and the consolidation of the West Bank and Gaza under a single government and unified administration representing the State of Palestine.
