GAZA, April 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Five civilians were killed and several others were wounded on Wednesday in a new airstrike launched by Israeli occupation warplanes on the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, just hours after the occupation forces committed a massacre in the same neighborhood that left 30 civilians killed, including eight children, and at least 50 others wounded.
WAFA correspondent reported that five civilians were killed and others were injured in the renewed Israeli strike on Shuja'iyya.
Ambulance and rescue crews, with the support of residents, are continuing their efforts to locate missing individuals beneath the rubble of the Abu Amsha family home, which was struck by Israeli occupation forces earlier today, resulting in the killing of at least 30 civilians, including eight children, and the wounding of approximately 50 others.
Since resuming its genocidal assault on Gaza on March 18, the Israeli occupation has killed approximately 1,500 civilians and injured thousands more, the vast majority of whom are women and children.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been perpetrating acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip, resulting in over 166,000 casualties, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, more than 11,000 individuals remain unaccounted for.
