RAMALLAH, April 9, 2025 (WAFA) – In a new massacre, at least 30 Palestinian citizens, including eight children, were killed and dozens more were injured on Wednesday after the occupation fighter jets targeted civilian homes in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, according to WAFA correspondent.
He said that at least 30 civilians, including eight children, were killed and approximately 50 others were injured when the occupation forces bombed a four-storey residential building owned by the Abu Amsha family on Baghdad Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood. The strike resulted in the destruction of the building and caused damage to ten nearby homes, all of which were inhabited.
He noted that ambulance and rescue crews are still searching for missing persons under the rubble of the targeted homes and buildings. The majority of the victims had relocated from the outskirts to the center of the neighborhood and were unable to seek refuge elsewhere due to the absence of available shelter.
Medical sources indicated that the death toll is likely to rise due to the critical condition of some of the wounded.
