ROME, April 6, 2025 (WAFA) – The World Food Programme (WFP) announced on Sunday the closure of all 25 WFP-supported kitchens in Gaza due to severe shortages of flour and fuel, amid the ongoing Israeli blockade on the Strip.
In a post on the X platform, the UN agency stated that its current food supplies at the hot meal kitchen in Gaza could last for less than two weeks.
It also noted that each hot meal provides only 25 percent or less of an individual's daily nutritional needs.
