JENIN, April 3, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was injured on Thursday evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces near the Jalama military checkpoint, located north of Jenin.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition at Abdel Rahman Iyad Abu al-Rob, a young man from the town of Qabatiya, injuring him in both legs before detaining him.

This comes as the Israeli military's assault on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp continues for the 73rd consecutive day, which has so far resulted in 35 Palestinians killed, along with dozens of injuries and detentions.
