RAMALLAH, April 3, 2024 (WAFA) – Reham Al-Jaafari, Advocacy Director at ActionAid, said that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has surpassed catastrophe, describing it as unprecedented, given the lack of food, water, and fuel, and the complete collapse of the health sector.
Al-Jaafari explained in an interview with Voice of Palestine Radio that the continued closure of the crossings has led to a severe shortage of basic supplies. Bakeries have been completely closed, leaving citizens unable to obtain food, while community kitchens have stopped providing hot meals due to fuel shortages.
