RAMALLAH, March 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohamed Mustafa said Tuesday affirmed that the attacks and violent bombardment committed by Israel, the occupying forces, in the the Gaza Strip and the targeting of civilians inside tents require urgent action from the international community to halt these crimes.
During his speech at the beginning of the cabinet session, the Prime Minister emphasized that targeting hundreds of civilians, including children, women, and elderly people, as they sleep inside dilapidated tents in the Gaza Strip amidst food and medicine shortages is a crime that must stop immediately
The Prime Minister went on to say, "The scenes of horror and fear, and the transportation of the dead and wounded through primitive methods using animals, require the international community to take urgent and more effective action to compel and oblige Israel to halt this aggression."
He also affirmed, "The continued aggression of the occupation against the camps and various governorates exposes the occupation's pretexts, and that the goal is to destroy the camps, their infrastructure, and the foundations of life in the cities."
The Prime Minister said, "We, as a government, will continue our efforts and our duty towards our people wherever they are, and we will not be deterred by the crimes and obstacles of the occupation."
Israeli occupation forces launched a fresh wave of aerial attacks on the Gaza Strip after midnight, resuming the ongoing genocide after a two-month hiatus with widespread airstrikes that so far claimed the lives of at least 400 Palestinian civilians, with nearly 500 people reported injured, including children and women.
Additionally, numerous people remain trapped under the rubble of targeted buildings and homes.
