JENIN, March 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces briefly detained a number of journalists on Saturday near the Jenin Government Hospital, preventing them from carrying out their work.
Local sources reported that the journalists were briefly detained while covering the Israeli military's siege around the hospital and its attempts to storm the hospital’s yard. The Israeli forces stopped the journalists from reporting and forced them to leave the area.
Earlier today, the Israeli forces had deployed military vehicles in front of the hospital's gate and fired toxic gas canisters towards people present in its main courtyard.
This marks the 47th day of Israeli aggression against the Jenin city and its refugee camp. The ongoing Israeli offensive has so far resulted in 30 fatalities, dozens of injuries, and mass displacement of almost the entire population of the Jenin refugee camp.
