JERICHO, February 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists continued on Thursday to pave a colonial road northwest of the Arab al-Malihat community, west of the city of Jericho.

Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of Al-Baidar organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, explained to WAFA that the colonists placed "bascours" on the road they paved to reach the colonial outpost of Zohar adjacent to Arab al-Malihat on the main street.

He added that this colonial road will exacerbate the suffering of the citizens in Arab al-Malihat, and increase the state of tension and confrontations with the colonists.

Malihat stressed that this means the confiscation of more lands, noting that the occupation forces recently seized, by military decision, lands in the same area for the purpose of colonists' grazing in the area.

Arab al-Malihat and other Bedouin communities are subjected to a series of harassments to impose a new colonial reality on the ground.
