RAMALLAH, February 16, 2025 (WAFA) – The weather today in Palestine is expected to be partly cloudy and cold in mountainous areas, while relatively cold in other regions. Temperatures will drop, and scattered rain showers are expected in most areas, with heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and occasional hail in some locations, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Winds are expected to be southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active, and the sea will have slight waves.
In the evening and nighttime hours, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear and extremely cold. Some areas may still experience rain showers. Winds will remain southwesterly to westerly, moderate to occasionally active, and the sea will remain with slight waves.
The weather on Monday will be generally clear, cold in mountainous areas, and relatively cold elsewhere. A slight rise in temperatures is expected, with light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds.
Conditions on Tuesday will be partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold in the mountains, while moderate in other regions. Temperatures will rise slightly again, with light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds and slight waves at sea.
The weather on Wednesday is expected to remain partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold in the mountains, while moderate elsewhere. No significant change in temperatures is expected.
The PMD has issued warnings about reduced visibility, slippery roads, and the risk of floods in valleys and low-lying areas, particularly in the eastern regions. People are advised to exercise caution while traveling.
