RAMALLAH, February 5, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the country will be affected by a low-pressure cold front, so the weather will be cold to very cold, as temperature will drop significantly. Rain showers will fall on most areas, and will be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms and hail sometimes.

Wind is southwesterly to westerly, strong with occasional strong gusts. Sea waves are high.

In the evening and night hours, the weather will be very cold, stormy, and rainy, with rain showers falling in most areas, heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms, and sometimes hail. 

The country will continue to be affected by the low-pressure cold front on Thursday, with another noticeable drop in temperatures, so the weather will be very cold, and rain showers will fall on most areas, and will be heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail sometime.

On Saturday, weather will be partly cloudy and very cold, with no significant change in temperature. A chance of light, scattered rain showers are expected in some areas.

PMD warns citizens on Wednesday and Thursday against strong wind speeds that reach 80 km/h in some gusts, the formation of floods in valleys and low-lying areas, the low horizontal visibility period, and slippery roads.
