LA PAZ, February 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Bolivia strongly condemned on Monday the "barbaric Israeli aggression" against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.

In a statement released by the Bolivian Foreign Ministry, the government expressed deep concern over the Israeli military aggression over the past 14 days, which has resulted in numerous Palestinian casualties and widespread destruction of residential buildings in the northern West Bank.

The statement emphasized that these Israeli actions are clear evidence that the ongoing ethnic cleansing, characterized by the killing and injury of Palestinians, forced displacement and the destruction of Palestinian homes, has not ended.

Bolivia expressed its support for the call made by President Mahmoud Abbas for an emergency session of the UN Security Council to halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

The Bolivian government affirmed its support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land and its absolute recognition of the Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
