JENIN, January 29, 2025 (WAFA) - A Palestinian youth has been killed following a strike by an Israeli drone in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin last night, sources confirmed.
Palestinian Red Crescent crews were able to transfer the body of a slain youth from the roof of a building in the city of Jenin on Wednesday morning.
WAFA correspondent explained that Omar Abu Al-Haija, 25, was killed after being injured last night following a drone strike on the Cinema Roundabout area in the center of the city.
She added that the occupation forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching the injured young man and transporting him.
He was found dead this morning before he was transferred to the hospital.
The occupation forces continue to obstruct the work of ambulance crews in the city of Jenin, as they detained ambulances last night in the industrial zone, the Post Street area, and the main roundabout. They also tighten their entry and exit to the Jenin Governmental Hospital, and check the identities of paramedics.
The ongoing aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp has so far left 16 slain Palestinians, dozens of injuries, detentions, and forced evictions of families, in addition to the destruction of more than 100 homes and burning them inside the camp, in light of the continued systematic destruction of the infrastructure, and preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from entering it.
