JENIN, January 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers destroyed the entrances to the towns of al-Yamoun and Silat al-Harithiya, located to the west of Jenin, today, as part of an ongoing military assault in the Jenin province.
Local sources reported that the bulldozers destroyed the Martyr Islam Khmaisah Square, situated at the main entrance to al-Yamoun. Forces also destroyed the main entrance to Silat al-Harithiya, making it impossible for vehicles to use the road.
The Israeli occupation forces have been continuing their assault on the city and refugee camp of Jenin for the fourth consecutive day.
The attack has resulted in the killing of 12 Palestinian citizens, while dozens have been injured and detained. Additionally, the Israeli assault has caused significant damage to the region's infrastructure and civilian property.
