RAMALLAH, January 20, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Donald Trump on his inauguration and for taking the constitutional oath as President of the United States of America.

In his message, President Abbas emphasized, “We stand ready to work with you to achieve peace during your tenure, guided by the two-state solution based on international legitimacy. This vision seeks the establishment of the State of Palestine and the State of Israel living side by side in peace and security.”

President Abbas further highlighted the importance of collective efforts to foster security and stability in the region and across the globe, expressing his hope for fruitful collaboration in pursuing these shared goals
