RAMALLAH, January, 20, 2024 (WAFA) – Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mohammad Mustafa discussed with Deputy Prime Minister and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani support for the government's relief, recovery and reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip.

This came during a meeting held today, Monday, in his office in Ramallah, in the presence of Minister of Social Development Samah Hamad and Italian Consul General Domenico Bellato.

Mustafa appreciated the commitment of the Italian leadership to its continued support for Palestine, stressing the importance of this visit, which coincides with the cessation of aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the intensification of relief and humanitarian efforts in the Strip.

The Prime Minister also reviewed the government's plan for relief, emergency response and early recovery for the Gaza Strip, which it prepared several months ago, and which will cover the next six months for many sectors, taking into account priorities and needs, to cover the relief aspect, early recovery and restoration of basic services, stressing the importance of coordinating all efforts with the institutions of the State of Palestine.
