BETHLEHEM, January 13, 2025 (WAFA) – A number of students from Al-Khader schools, south of Bethlehem, suffered from suffocation due to the Israeli occupation forces firing tear gas bombs during their raid on the town.

WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces stormed Al-Khader, and positioned themselves in "Tall" area of the Old City, and attacked the students while they were heading to their schools, by firing tear gas and sound bombs, which led to a number of them suffering from suffocation.

He added that the occupation forces raided the gate area on the main Jerusalem-Hebron road, and fired tear gas and sound bombs, which caused a state of panic among students and citizens.

Yesterday, the occupation forces attacked Al-Khader students and fired live ammunition, tear gas and sound bombs around their schools.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education warned that Palestinian schools are currently seeing continuous targeting by the occupation army and colonists, which disrupts the educational process and threatens the future of students.
