Palestinian woman injured by Israeli army’s bullets during military incursion into Bethlehem's village

BETHLEHEM, December 23, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman, in her 30s, was shot on Monday evening during an Israeli military raid into the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, according to WAFA correspondent.

WAFA correspondent said that a woman was struck by live bullets in the foot after Israeli forces opened fire on a vehicle near the stadium and school area. She was subsequently taken to a hospital in Bethlehem for treatment.

Rami Hamamreh, the director of the Husan village council, told WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces stormed Husan village and positioned their troops in various parts of the village and its surroundings amid the firing of live bullets, shooting and injuring the woman.

Israel's escalated measures in the West Bank, including the expansion of illegal colonies, home demolitions and military incursions have consistently drawn widespread international condemnation.
