JERUSALEM, December 16, 2024 (WAFA) –  Colonists groups published a modified image simulating the construction of the alleged temple on the ruins of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The same far-right colonists' group, known as the "Temple Mount Activists", had previously published a video clip modified using AI on its social media accounts, showing a large fire in the Dome of the Rock and inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings, and accompanied the video with the phrase: "Absolute victory", and then republished the video and commented on it with the phrase: "Soon in these days".

Local sources said that the "Temple Mount" group published today an AI image showing the alleged temple on the ruins of Al-Aqsa accompanied by the phrase: "Building the temple is closer than ever."

This coincides with the "Hanukkah" holiday, which is coming soon, during which Al-Aqsa is subjected to violations, most notably the attempt to bring the menorah into Al-Aqsa or light candles, as happened on the same anniversary last year.

It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, Al-Aqsa Mosque has seen unprecedented aggression and attempts to change the status quo there, by besieging it, removing its guards, and opening the door to incursions by colonists and their leaders.
