GAZA, December 15, 2024 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday following an Israeli airstrike that targeted the area surrounding Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza.
According to medical sources, the airstrike hit a gathering of civilians near the hospital, which has been subjected to continuous bombardment for over two months. The attack led to the murder of two individuals and left others wounded, as the region remains heavily affected by ongoing Israeli military attacks.
On October 5, Israeli forces initiated an unprecedented wave of airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp and surrounding areas, followed by a ground invasion the next day, escalating the humanitarian crisis. The ongoing attacks are contributing to the severe destruction of civilian infrastructure and widespread displacement across Gaza.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,930 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 106,624 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
