GAZA, December 15, 2024 (WAFA) – At least 14 people have been killed and 30 others injured, including women and children, following a series of airstrikes carried out by Israeli occupation forces across Gaza since the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to local reports, one of the deadliest incidents occurred when an Israeli airstrike hit a tent sheltering displaced people in the northern Gaza town of Izbat Beit Hanoun. Several civilians were killed and others wounded in the attack.

In another attack, an Israeli artillery shell struck a residential area on Sultan Abdul Hamid Street in the neighboring city of Beit Hanoun, killing a man, his wife, and two daughters. Several others were injured in the shelling.

Earlier in the night, Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Arouq family in the Abu Iskander area of Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City. Several civilians were killed and wounded in this strike as well.

Another fatal airstrike hit a home on Nafaq Street in central Gaza City, claiming the lives of four people and injuring several others.

Medical sources confirmed that the death toll in Gaza since the night before has reached 14, with 30 more wounded.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,930 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 106,624 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
