Prime Minister Mustafa stresses need to realize justice to Palestinians, halt Israeli crimes

RAMALLAH, December 10, 2024 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa Tuesday stressed the need for the international community to realize justice to and halt Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.

He made his comments during a meeting with Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Alexandra Papadopoulou, at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in the West Bank city of Ramallah in the attendance of the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem, Dimitrios Angelosopoulos.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Mustafa also stressed the need for the international community to help realize the legitimate rights of all Palestinians recognized by international law and the United Nations Charter and resolutions.

He discussed with the Greek diplomat the developments on the Palestinian arena given the ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip, which resulted in killing 44,786 Palestinians and injuring 106,188 others, along with Israeli occupation forces and colonists’ attacks in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

He emphasized the importance of implementing the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2735 to allow the immediate unimpeded entry of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Strip, while pointing out that not only do the Palestinian population of the Strip die in Israeli bombardment, but also they die for lack of adequate food and medicine.

He commended Greece for providing relief and humanitarian aid to the Strip and getting involved in the Global Coalition for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, and renewed his call to Greece to recognize the State of Palestine.

Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Papadopoulou, affirmed her country’s support to the efforts towards a ceasefire and the unhindered entry of assistance to the Strip.
