GAZA, December 6, 2024 (WAFA) — At least 20 Palestinians, including six children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza on Friday evening, according to local sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted a house that had been evacuated prior to the attack. The bombing resulted in the murder of 20 people, including six children and five women, with several others wounded in neighboring homes.

Some of the victims were later identified and transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.

In a separate incident, a young girl was killed when Israeli artillery shelled tents housing displaced families near the western part of Nuseirat.

Meantime, medical sources reported that the death toll in Gaza since the early morning of Friday has risen to 63, including 35 victims from northern Gaza, as the Israeli occupation army continued its assault on the enclave.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,612 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 105,834 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
