Pregnant woman among three Palestinians killed in Israeli bombing on Gaza Strip

GAZA, November 27, 2024 (WAFA) – A pregnant woman and two other Palestinians Wednesday evening were killed in Israeli bombing on Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and Khan Younes in the southern Strip, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli bombardment targeted the Tal al-Zaatar area in Beit Lahia, killing a three-month pregnant woman and injuring five other civilians.

They added that an Israeli military drone targeted a gathering of civilians in the al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younes, killing two and injuring three others.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least of 44,282 Palestinians and injuring 104,880 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
