Occupation forces detain two people during ongoing raid in Ramallah-area town

RAMALLAH, November 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained on Sunday evening two people from the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, and detained a third during the ongoing raid on the town of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of the the occupied West Bank city.

Security sources reported to WAFA that the occupation forces detained two whose identities were not revealed and confiscated a vehicle during their raid on the town of Beitunia.

The same sources added that the occupation forces detained Ihab Abu Alia while continuing to raid the town of Al-Mughayyir, while they detained 9 others and released them later.

The occupation forces have continued to raid the town since yesterday evening, where they seized the house of local resident Wahid Abu Naim and turned it into a military barracks, and raised the occupation flag on its roof.

Local sources reported that these forces are carrying out field investigations of dozens of citizens, amid raids and searches of a number of homes.

In the same context, the occupation forces set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the villages of Kafr Naama, Ras Karkar, and Kharbatha Bani Harith, west of Ramallah, and checked the identities of citizens, but no detentions were reported, however.
