GAZA, November 22, 2024 (WAFA) — At least 12 Palestinians, the majority of them women and children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Friday. The attacks targeted various locations, including Gaza City, Deir al-Balah in the center of the Strip, and Khan Younis in the south.
Local sources reported that eight people, including women and children, were killed in an Israeli air raid on a home belonging to the Abu Assr family in the Shuja'iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Several others were wounded in the strike.
In a separate attack, a woman and her child were killed, while her husband sustained serious injuries in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the northwest of the city.
Additionally, sources confirmed that two more individuals were slaughtered, and several others were wounded when Israeli warplanes struck a house belonging to the Abu Samra family in the western part of Deir al-Balah.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,056 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 104,268 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
