Five Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and Beit Lahiya

GAZA, November 15, 2024 (WAFA) – Five Palestinian civilians were killed on Friday as Israeli occupation forces carried out airstrikes and artillery bombardments across Gaza, with casualties reported in Gaza City and the northern area of the besieged enclave.

According to local sources, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli artillery attack that targeted the western roundabout area in Beit Lahiya, located in the northern Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, three other Palestinians were killed in a separate Israeli strike near the General Security junction in western Gaza City.

The latest fatalities add to the growing toll of civilians affected by Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza. The constant bombardment continues to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in the strip, where access to medical care, basic services, and safe shelter has become increasingly limited.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 43,736 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 103,370 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
