GAZA, November 9, 2024 (WAFA) – Five Palestinians were killed and others injured today in an Israeli airstrike on a home in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, as the wide-scale Israeli onslaught on the region entered its 35th consecutive day.

Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the home of the Abu Omar family near the Al-Tawba Mosque in Jabalia, resulting in the murder of five civilians. Several others were wounded in the attack, though the exact number of casualties is still being confirmed.

The bombing is part of an ongoing military offensive by Israeli occupation forces, which has continued relentlessly in northern Gaza despite mounting international calls for a ceasefire.

The airstrikes have severely damaged civilian infrastructure and homes, particularly in areas like Jabalia, where many residents are refusing to leave their properties despite the constant bombardment.

Medical sources indicated that at least 25 Palestinians have been killed since the early hours of Saturday, including 16 in northern Gaza. The death toll continues to rise as airstrikes target various locations throughout the Gaza Strip.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 43,552 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 102,765 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
