GAZA, November, 9, 2024 (WAFA) – Four civilians were killed today in an Israeli airstrike that targeted citizens and displaced persons' tents in Deir al-Balah and Jabalia refugee camp in the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that an Israeli occupation drone opened fire on citizens in the al-Bassa area in Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip, which led to the killing of one civilian and the injury of others.
They added that the occupation army bombed a tent for displaced persons in the vicinity of al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, resulting in the killing of two citizens and the injury of others.
They affirmed that the occupation targeted a group of citizens, most of them children, while filling water in Tal al-Zaatar in Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of a girl and the injury of others.
Meantime, medical sources said that 25 civilians were killed in Israeli raids on various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn today, 16 of them in the northern Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 43,552 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 102,765 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
