RAMALLAH, November 8, 2024 (WAFA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Friday condemned the anti-Arab chants and the barbaric acts carried out by fans of an Israeli football club in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, over three consecutive days, which included the desecration and removal of Palestinian flags from locations symbolizing support for Palestinian rights against the ongoing occupation’s crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry urged the Dutch government to investigate those responsible for these disturbances and to safeguard Palestinians and Arabs in the Netherlands from colonists and Israeli soldiers who traveled to the country to spread their racist ideology and actions to European capitals. It emphasized its firm rejection of all forms of violence.
The Ministry warned that tolerating such provocations not only threatens Palestinians but also undermines core principles of human rights and social cohesion, urging authorities to confront and counter these dangerous forms of anti-Palestinian sentiment.
