GAZA, November 6, 2024 (WAFA) – At least five Palestinians were killed this evening in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a group of civilians in the Tal al-Zaatar area, located in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the Al-Awda Hospital in Jabalia, northern Gaza, the victims, along with several others injured, were brought to the facility following the attack. Medical teams confirmed the casualties and are attending to the wounded.
Earlier on Wednesday, another Israeli airstrike took the lives of four people and left multiple others injured when a drone targeted a group of civilians in the Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City. The attack occurred near the Palestinian Red Crescent’s ambulance and emergency services headquarters.
Emergency responders from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that they transported the casualties to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. As of now, no further details have been provided about the identities of the deceased or the extent of injuries sustained.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 43,391 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 102,347 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
