Israeli forces raid Palestinian homes in Nur Shams camp, turn part of them into military points

TULKAREM, October, 31 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided dozens of citizens' homes in Al-Manshiya neighborhood in Nour Shams camp, and turned a number of them into military points.

Local sources reported, quoting eyewitnesses and local sources from inside the camp, that the occupation forces raided the homes in the aforementioned neighborhood, conducted a wide-scale search inside them, detained their residents and subjected them to interrogation.

They added that the occupation soldiers forced a number of residents to leave their homes and exit the camp, and turned them into military and observation points.

The occupation forces also sent their military reinforcements to the camp, specifically Al-Manshiya neighborhood, and turned its yard into a military point while deploying snipers on the rooftops of several buildings.

Heavy gunfire and explosions are heard inside the camp after the occupation forces cut off electricity and communications and jammed the internet networks in the camp and the surrounding area, and prevented ambulance crews from entering the camp.

The occupations' bulldozers continue to bulldoze and destroy the infrastructure around the camp, specifically Nablus Street and Al-Manshiya neighborhood in particular, and have affected the water, electricity and sewage networks, and citizens' properties.

They also demolished the office of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the camp after bulldozing its external walls, two days after the Israeli Knesset decided to ban its operation in Isreal.
