BEIRUT, October 27, 2024 – Six Lebanese citizens were killed and one more was injured during Israeli airstrikes on the town of Jdaida Marjaayoun in southern Lebanon last night.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the fatalities occurred as a result of two separate airstrikes targeting the area. 

In addition, several other civilians were injured when Israeli warplanes bombed the outskirts of the town of Zarariyah.

The Israeli occupation military also carried out seven airstrikes on the Dahieh district of Beirut and targeted the vicinity of the city of Hermel, north of the country, escalating tensions in the region.
