The European Commission said that it donated €16 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
It said in a post on X that "We remain fully committed to addressing the humanitarian plight of the Palestinian people. This week, we've disbursed a third payment of €16 million to the UNRWA."
"This payment completes the disbursement of the €82 million allocated for the agency for 2024," it added.
