GAZA, October 8, 2024 (WAFA) - Eyewitnesses said that a number of civilians were lying on the ground in the streets and alleys of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, as civil defense crews were unable to rescue them due to the continuous Israeli occupation bombing.

WAFA correspondent said that there were dozens of martyrs and wounded lying in the streets of Jabalia, and as a result of the intensity of the bombing, medical crews and civil defense were unable to reach them.

He pointed out that the occupation forces broke into the area north of Jabalia camp as the bombing continues in various areas of the camp, adding that the occupation vehicles advanced towards the Jabalia Services Club area, Block 2, and Al-Qassasin, and are carrying out extensive bulldozing operations there, while a number of occupation tanks are stationed in Al-Tawam roundabout area west of the camp.

WAFA correspondent pointed out that the occupation snipers and "Quadcopter" aircraft are shooting at anyone moving in the camp as the occupation forces bombed a food warehouse.

Yesterday, more than 20 people were killed in the camp, while the occupation bulldozers continue to bulldoze agricultural lands that were recently planted.

Citizens fear being forcibly displaced from Jabalia camp through starvation and continuous bombardment.

According to Israeli media, the occupation army is studying a plan to turn the northern Gaza Strip into a military zone by forcing about 200,000 citizens to move from the northern Gaza Strip to the south, to keep the area under full occupation control.

The occupation forces have continued the brutal, deadly aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of 41,909 citizens, and the injury of 97,303 others, the majority of whom are children and women, in an incomplete toll, as thousands of missing people are still under the rubble.
