Israeli forces raid Tulkarm, surround governmental hospital

TULKARM, October 7, 2024 (WAFA) - The occupation forces Sunday overnight stormed the occupiede West Bank city of Tulkarm.

WAFA correspondent reported that a number of occupation vehicles stormed the city from its western axis, and roamed its streets, specifically the area of ​​Al-Alimi Roundabout (the courts), Al-Quds Open University Street, and Nablus Street.

She added that the occupation vehicles besieged Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in the city.

Later, the occupation forces sent more military reinforcements accompanied by two heavy bulldozers towards the city, and began bulldozing sections of the vicinity of Al-Alimi Roundabout to the west, Al-Younis Roundabout to the north, and Aktaba Roundabout to the east, destroying the infrastructure there.

Additionally, the occupation bulldozers closed the roads leading to Nour Shams camp from the area of ​​Aktaba Roundabout and Al-Sikka Street with earth mounds, while bulldozing the vicinity of Martyr Saif Abu Labdeh Roundabout adjacent to the entrance to Nour Shams camp, which was completely destroyed by the occupation forces during previous raids on the camp.

The occupation forces were stationed at a number of intersections and roads surrounding Nour Shams camp, amidst the sounds of clashes and explosions in the area.

The occupation forces were deployed in a number of the city's streets, specifically in the southern neighborhood and Al-Haddadin Street in the northern neighborhood.

According to WAFA correspondent, the occupation soldiers stopped a vehicle and forced passengers in it to get out of it and searched and abused them.

No detentions were reported so far.
