Colonists uproot, damage dozens of olive trees east of Tulkarm

TULKARM, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists  today uprooted dozens of olive trees in Ramon Plain, east of Tulkarm.

Manal Zidan, a local citizen, said that a group of colonists cut off and damaged dozens of olive trees.

He added that this area is subjected to daily attacks by colonists  after they established a colonial outpost in the area on it where they graze their sheep after fencing it with barbed wire.

The colonists also pursued Palestinian farmers and force them to leave their lands at gunpoint in the same area.

Meanwhile, colonists attacked a vehicle belonging to local resident Walaa Azem, who was heading with her mother from the town of Sebastia to Ramin. They intercepted her, pulled her out of the vehicle, and detained her for more than an hour.

In a related context, dozens of colonists, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, stormed the village of Al-Litwani, east of Yatta and performed Talmudic rituals at one of the archaeological sites.
