GAZA, Saturday, August 10, 2024 (WAFA) - Last night, Israeli airstrikes targeted several areas across the Gaza Strip, resulting in numerous casualties and significant destruction.
According to medical sources, dozens of civilians were killed or injured when Israeli forces bombed the Al-Tabe'een School in the Daraj neighborhood, which was housing displaced families in eastern Gaza City.
In the northern Gaza Strip, six people were killed and 15 others injured when an Israeli airstrike hit a home belonging to the Abu Khalifa family in the Jabalia refugee camp.
In the central Gaza Strip, four individuals lost their lives and others were wounded in an Israeli attack on a house belonging to the Hamada family in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
The bombardment also damaged two neighboring homes belonging to the Abu Rahma and Al-Hawari families.
Additionally, four others were injured in a separate airstrike targeting a home belonging to the Al-Qirinawi family south of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Furthermore, four more individuals were killed when Israeli forces struck a tent at site 14 near the Al-Mazra’a School in eastern Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in 39,699 documented Palestinian fatalities, mostly women and children, in addition to 91,722 injuries.
Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
