NABLUS, Saturday, July 27, 2024 (WAFA) – At lrast one Palestinian was killed and nine others sustained injuries, two of them seriously, following an Israeli drone strike this afternoon targeting a group of individuals in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
The Ministry of Health reported that 17-year-old Lo'ay Mohammad Masha was killed in the attack, while the rest of the injured were transported to the Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus for medical treatment. Two of the injured are in a critical condition.
According to reports from the Palestine Red Crescent Society, one of its field volunteers was injured in the Israeli strike.
Earlier, a large contingent of Israeli forces, supported by numerous armored vehicles, raided the camp. The raid was marked by heavy gunfire and loud explosions.
