QALQILIA, Thursday, July 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Two Palestinian youths were injured by Israeli gunfire this evening following a raid by Israeli occupation forces on the city of Qalqiliya.

Local sources reported that Israeli troops stormed Qalqiliya through its eastern entrance and pursued a vehicle, opening fire on it. The gunfire resulted in injuries to two young men on board the vehicle, with wounds to the abdomen and back. They were subsequently transported to the hospital.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that the two injured individuals, one with serious wounds and the other with minor injuries, were admitted to Qalqiliya Government Hospital.

In addition to the gunfire incident, Israeli forces closed the main eastern entrance to the city with a metal gate, obstructing the movement of residents and causing a severe traffic jam.
