GAZA, Thursday, July 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were killed this evening, including children and women, in a series of continued Israeli air and artillery strikes across the war-ridden Gaza Strip, according to local and medical sources.

In Khan Younis, south of the enclave, a Palestinian woman was killed and several others injured as Israeli airstrikes persistently targeted the town of Bani Suheila. Meantime, locals managed to recover the bodies of several victims from the rubble of homes destroyed in the same area.

Earlier in the day, two Palestinians were killed and one more injured in an Israeli drone strike on Sheikh Nasser neighborhood in Khan Younis.

Simultaneously, two young men were killed by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire east of the city, while another individual was fatally shot by Israeli troops in the Shakush area, northwest of Rafah.

In the meantime, medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the arrival of 32 bodies as a result of the continued Israeli attacks in Khan Younis and Rafah alone since the morning.

In a related development, Israeli forces demolished residential buildings in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis. Simultaneously, Israeli artillery shelled Sheikh Nasser neighborhood and surrounding areas in Khan Younis, as well as targeted regions north of Rafah.

In Gaza City, medical sources reported several fatalities and injuries were transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital following an Israeli airstrike on civilians near Kuwait Roundabout in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.

Meanwhile, Israeli aircraft carried out strikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, while artillery targeted areas east and south of the nearby Bureij refugee camp.

Israel has been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting so far in the killing of 39,175 individuals, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, 90,403 people have been injured, according to preliminary figures.
