One killed, others injured, in Israeli bombing in Gaza's Deir al-Balah

GAZA, Monday, July 22, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian citizen was Monday killed and others were injured in an Israeli occupation bombing on Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent said that the occupation forces bombed a tent for journalists inside Al-Aqsa Hospital in Dabr al-Balah, which led to the killing of a citizen and the injury of a number of others.

Local health authorities confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 38,983 reported fatalities, with an additional 89,727 individuals sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Ambulance and rescue teams are still unable to reach many casualties and dead bodies trapped under the rubble or scattered on roads across the war-torn enclave, as Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the movement of ambulance and civil defense crews.
