Six civilians, including journalist, killed and others injured in Israeli airstrike on Jabalia refugee camp

HEBRON, Saturday, July 20 2024 (WAFA) – Six civilians, including a journalist and his family, were killed  today in an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip and north of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that the occupation warplanes targeted a house in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of journalist Muhammad Jasser, his wife and two children.

Meanwhile, the occupation warplanes also bombed a house for the Al-Sabbagh family in the Zarqa area, north of Gaza City, killing two civilians and wounding others.

Intense air and artillery bombardment targeted the Al-Dawa area, north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that Israeli warplanes have been carrying out a series of airstrikes on Gaza City and the northern and central Gaza Strip since early hours resulting in the killing of 25 people, the majority of whom were children and women.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has so far resulted in the killing of over 38,848 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.

The Israeli onslaught has also left more than 89,459 injured, according to preliminary figures, with thousands still trapped under rubble.
