GAZA, Saturday, June 29, 2024 (WAFA) – A number of civilians were injured, some seriously, due to Israeli shelling this evening on Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted a house in the camp, resulting in injuries to several civilians, with some sustaining serious wounds.
They were promptly transported to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the camp and Indonesian Hospital in nearby Beit Lahia for medical treatment.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has claimed the lives of 37,834 Palestinians, predominantly children and women, and left 86,858 others injured.
Thousands more remain trapped either under rubble or on the streets, as Israeli forces obstruct the access of rescue teams and civil defense crews to reach them.
