RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 27, 2024 (WAFA) – The Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammad Mustafa, briefed the Managing Director of the Middle East and North Africa region at the European Union Foreign Ministry, Helene Le Gal, on all Palestinian developments, in light of the continuation of the war of extermination against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the attacks of the occupation army and colonists in the West Bank, and the daily incursions, killing, arrest, land seizure, and the continued withholding of Palestinian clearance funds and deductions from them.
During the meeting held in his office in the city of Ramallah, the Prime Minister stressed the need for concerted efforts to stop the war of genocide against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, strengthen relief efforts and provide basic materials, pointing, at the same time, to the government’s efforts to launch initiatives for economic development and improve the quality of services, and seek to unify institutions between the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and restore basic and governmental services immediately after the end of the war.
Mustafa thanked the European Union for its consistent and continuous support for Palestine politically and financially, and for supporting development projects and vital sectors, especially health and education.
Le Gal affirmed the European Union's continued political and financial support for Palestine, support for relief efforts in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the government's program for institutional reform.
