NABLUS, Monday, June 10, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces Monday destroyed a communications network in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, and a rest area, and closed an agricultural road with dirt mounds.
The mayor of Sebastia, Mohammad Azem, explained to WAFA that the occupation forces raided the area of the main street west of the town, linking the cities of Jenin and Nablus, and demolished the communications network.
They also demolished a rest house belonging to local resident Bilal Kayed, and closed an agricultural road linking the town and the plain area, he added.
Azem stressed that these attacks came in implementation of the colonists’ goals in the town, which include controlling the lands and the archaeological site in the town.
