HEBRON, Sunday, June 9, 2024 (WAFA) - A Palestinian teenager was injured by live bullets and others suffocated by tear gas fired by the Israeli army tonight during confrontations in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to local sources.
Sources said confrontations broke out following an Israeli military incursion into the Safa area of Beit Ummar. The army forces attacked residents with live bullets and tear gas bombs, which led to the wounding of a teenager with live bullets, in addition to several cases of suffocation.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews dealt with the injury of a 16-year-old teen who was shot in the back by Israeli soldiers’ live ammunition.
